The majority of bone mineralisation in foals occurs during the last three months of pregnancy and the first three months of lactation. This is the most important period for supplementation as a lot of mares are unable to access mineral rich pasture at this time of year.
This product has been carefully designed to balance minerals and nutrients required when feeds and forages are replacing constant grazing. Maerl buffers the stomach so that maximum absorption of the minerals occurs.
